Broncos officially rule out CB Pat Surtain

The Denver Broncos have ruled out cornerback Pat Surtain II for the upcoming game against the Houston Texans due to a pectoral injury. Despite not placing Surtain on injured reserve, the team hopes for his return by Week 13 after their bye week. Surtain is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. Additionally, the Broncos will be without wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (concussion), tight end Nate Adkins (knee), and safety P.J. Locke (neck) for the game. Surtain, Mims, and Adkins did not participate in practice this week, while Locke was limited earlier in the week before missing practice on Friday. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw, dealing with a quad issue, is expected to play as he has no injury designation.
