Report: 49ers working to finalize trade for Bryce Huff

The San Francisco 49ers are set to acquire edge rusher Bryce Huff from the Philadelphia Eagles, with the trade expected to finalize after June 1. The deal involves a Day 3 draft pick, and the Eagles have restructured Huff’s contract to facilitate the trade. Huff's salary will now total $9.05 million from the Eagles and $7.95 million from the 49ers. This move reunites Huff with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, under whom Huff achieved a career-high of 10 sacks in 2023. Last season, Huff recorded 2.5 sacks and three tackles for loss in 12 games for the Eagles.
