Report: Raiders expected to release former 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy Garoppolo, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, will be released by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 offseason. Before joining a new team, Garoppolo will serve a two-game suspension for violating the NFL's Performance Enhancing Substances policy. Garoppolo has decided not to appeal the suspension. Since being benched last season, Garoppolo passed for 1205 yards, seven touchdowns, and nine interceptions in seven games with the Raiders.
