49ers OL apologizes after “hungover” tweet blaming teammate for mistake

The San Francisco 49ers had some online drama following their loss in Super Bowl 58. A tweet blamed right tackle Colton McKivitz for a mistake, but guard Jon Feliciano clarified that it was actually fellow guard Spencer Burford's error. Feliciano apologized, citing being hungover and trying to support a teammate. Burford took responsibility and acknowledged the weight of the loss. Despite Burford's mistake, the 49ers had other errors throughout the game and came close to victory. However, they ultimately fell short against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
