Despite a strong performance from WR Jauan Jennings and a solid first-half defense, the 49ers were unable to capitalize on their opportunities. The game was marked by several miscues and missed chances. QB Brock Purdy had a commendable performance, going toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes, but ultimately fell short. Mahomes had two chances to win the game in regulation and overtime, ultimately leading the Chiefs to victory.
