Merril Hoge has a harsh criticism of Caleb Williams ahead of the draft

Former NFL fullback and analyst Merril Hoge has given a harsh evaluation of USC quarterback Caleb Williams ahead of the NFL draft. Hoge believes that the Chicago Bears should stick with Justin Fields instead of drafting Williams with the No. 1 pick. He criticized Williams' ability to throw on the run and lack of consistency. Hoge does not see anything special about Williams' game and does not believe he can be a game-changer like Patrick Mahomes. While former players think the Bears should keep Fields, others believe they should move on. Ultimately, the decision rests with general manager Ryan Poles.
