The Chicago Bears have a strong linebacker group heading into the 2024 season. T.J. Edwards had an impressive first year with the team, leading in tackles and interceptions. Tremaine Edmunds also had a solid season but had some moments of inconsistency. Jack Sanborn is a versatile player who can fill in at different linebacker positions. Noah Sewell battled through injuries in his rookie year but showed promise. Dylan Cole is a free agent and unlikely to return. Micah Baskerville is back on a reserve/futures contract after spending most of 2023 on the practice squad. The Bears may bring in some rookies for competition and add a veteran or two, but the top four linebackers seem set. The Edmunds/Edwards pairing is expected to improve in their second year in the defense.
