Mitchell Trubisky is being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released former Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky after two seasons, making him a free agent. Trubisky was a disappointment for the Bears and has since played as a backup for the Buffalo Bills and Steelers. It remains to be seen if he will find another backup role or potentially join a winning franchise. Interestingly, there are rumors that the Steelers may be interested in acquiring Bears quarterback Justin Fields.
