Sean Payton downplays rumors of trading up for a QB in the draft

Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton has downplayed rumors of trading up for a quarterback in the 2024 NFL draft. Payton stated that he hasn't even started evaluating the quarterbacks in this year's draft class. He mentioned that the team will begin the draft meetings on Monday and hasn't ranked the 2024 quarterbacks yet. Despite his comments, rumors continue to link the Broncos to quarterbacks due to uncertainty surrounding Russell Wilson's future in Denver. The 2024 NFL draft will take place in Detroit from April 25-27, and the Broncos currently have the 12th overall pick and six picks overall.
