During the Hula Bowl in Orlando, the Denver Broncos met with cornerback Reddy Steward, as confirmed by Steward himself in an interview with Justin Melo. Steward also had a similar meeting with the Chicago Bears. Both teams had Steward showcase his football IQ by going through plays on a whiteboard. The Broncos specifically asked about his experience playing the nickel position, which impressed them despite Steward not playing much nickel in his senior season at Troy. Steward spent five seasons at Troy and has shown potential as a late-round prospect for the Broncos as a slot cornerback. The 2024 NFL draft will be held in Detroit from April 25-27, and the Broncos currently have six picks.
