Former Denver Broncos center James Ferentz has announced his retirement from the NFL after a nine-year career. Ferentz played a role in the Broncos' journey to Super Bowl 50 in the 2015 season. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans in 2014 and was claimed off waivers by the Broncos the following year. Ferentz served as a backup lineman during the Super Bowl-winning season, playing 55 snaps on offense. He then played for the New England Patriots from 2017-2023, starting 10 games. Ferentz will always have the Super Bowl 50 win on his resume.
