Tre'Quan Smith's time with the Denver Broncos has come to an end after a disappointing stint. Smith, who previously played for the New Orleans Saints, was signed to the Broncos' practice squad after being cut by the Saints. However, he was only elevated to the game-day roster once last season and didn't make much of an impact. Denver reportedly wasn't impressed with his performance in practice. As a result, the Broncos decided not to re-sign Smith and have since signed 14 other players, including two receivers. Smith has now signed a reserve/future contract with the Detroit Lions, hoping for a better tenure with his new team. Throughout his career, Smith has recorded 131 receptions for 1,764 yards and 10 touchdowns in 67 games over six seasons.
