The Cleveland Browns are reviewing their free agents, starting with the running back position. Kareem Hunt, who joined the Browns after a domestic violence incident led to his release from the Chiefs, had a decent season in 2023. Despite lacking burst and not being a big factor as a receiver, Hunt found the end zone frequently and provided veteran leadership. It was later revealed that he had sports hernia surgery, which may have affected his performance. Jerome Ford had better yards-per-carry average but lacked vision. Nick Chubb, the key player at the position, is recovering from injury. Hunt is expected to be ready for football activities in March or April and could potentially re-sign with the Browns on a similar deal.
