The Pittsburgh Steelers have released quarterback Mitch Trubisky and two starters, Pressley Harvin and Chukwuma Okorafor, to save significant cap space. Trubisky's release saves the team just under $3 million, while Okorafor's release saves over $8 million. These moves were made to help the Steelers get under the salary cap by the start of the new league year on March 13th. Before these releases, the Steelers were projected to be over the cap by $16 million.
