Mason Rudolph, who was the best quarterback for the Steelers last year, is rumored to want a fresh start elsewhere. If the Steelers sign Tannehill, he would likely be the starting quarterback in 2024. The Steelers recently hired Arthur Smith, Tannehill's former offensive coordinator with the Titans. Despite Tannehill's age and decreased mobility, the Steelers are not satisfied with Pickett and are exploring other options.
