Bucs reach agreement to hire Liam Coen as offensive coordinator

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached an agreement to hire Liam Coen as their new offensive coordinator. Coen, the former offensive coordinator for the Kentucky Wildcats, will bring some continuity to the Bucs' offense as he worked with current Chicago Bears OC Shane Waldron in Los Angeles. Coen also has experience working with quarterback Baker Mayfield during his time with the Los Angeles Rams. This familiarity may help in retaining Mayfield, who wanted to know who would be calling the plays before continuing contract talks. Overall, Coen's hiring brings continuity, QB experience, and potential value to Tampa Bay's offense.
