Kansas City Chiefs player Chris Jones has announced that he plans to stay with the team, despite being a pending free agent. During the Chiefs' Super Bowl parade, Jones expressed his intention to return for the next two seasons and help the team go for a threepeat. Jones played on a one-year contract this season and was unable to secure a long-term deal with the Chiefs. However, a multi-year extension could be in the works. Jones had an impressive season, earning his fifth Pro Bowl selection and being named a first-team All-Pro. His agent, Michael Katz, responded to Jones' announcement on Twitter. Free agency negotiations begin on March 11.
