Kansas City Chiefs left guard Nick Allegretti tore the UCL in his elbow during the second quarter of Super Bowl LVIII. He played through the injury and didn't miss a snap. Allegretti had a strong performance throughout the playoffs and was starting in relief of Joe Thuney. He re-signed with the Chiefs on a one-year deal and is set to become an unrestricted free agent. The recovery time for a UCL tear can vary, but surgery could require nine to 12 months of recovery. If this was Allegretti's last game as a Chief, he would end his tenure with 13 regular-season and five playoff starts, and was a part of all three of Kansas City's recent Super Bowl titles.
