Chiefs-49ers snap counts: Jerick McKinnon jumps right back in

In the Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs won 25-22 in overtime. Some notable players on the Chiefs' starting lineup were Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Chris Jones. Despite an injury, Nick Allegretti played 100% of the offensive snaps. Jerick McKinnon, who recently had surgery, played 22% of the offensive snaps. The Chiefs had eight wide receivers on their roster, but three of them did not play. Rashee Rice and Marquez Valdes-Scantling had the most playing time among the wide receivers. On defense, Trent McDuffie, LJarius Sneed, Justin Reid, and Mike Edwards played the most snaps. Willie Gay Jr. returned to his normal playing time after an injury. Chris Jones played outside more often due to a missing defensive end. Neil Farrel and Mike Pennel also had significant playing time on the defensive line.
