Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo on Patrick Mahomes: 'I'm trying to get him to play defense too'

Steve Spagnuolo, the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently signed a contract extension with the team. He expressed his desire to have quarterback Patrick Mahomes play on the defense as well. Spagnuolo praised Mahomes' team-oriented mentality and his ability to make everyone better. He even suggested that Mahomes could be the first two-way player, playing both safety and corner. However, it is unclear if head coach Andy Reid will entertain this idea. Despite that, both Spagnuolo and Mahomes are committed to doing whatever it takes to secure another Super Bowl victory for the Chiefs.
