Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu is expected to return to the AFC Championship game after suffering a knee injury. Initially, Omenihu thought the injury was minor and even hoped to reenter the game. However, it was later revealed that he had torn his ACL. Omenihu had a successful season with seven sacks in 11 games, and his injury was devastating, especially since he was playing against his former team, the San Francisco 49ers, in the Super Bowl. Despite being unable to play, Omenihu helped his team prepare for the game. He will miss a significant portion of the 2024 season while recovering from his injury. Omenihu expects the Chiefs to face more scrutiny and hate as they continue their winning streak.
