Blake Freeland, a rookie offensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts, gained valuable experience in the 2023 season. He was drafted as the team's swing tackle and made his NFL debut in Week 4. Freeland started at both left tackle and right tackle throughout the season, facing tough pass rushers such as Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett. He allowed four sacks and 45 total pressures in pass blocking. Despite the challenges, Freeland showed resilience and will continue to grow. The Colts drafted him knowing he needed time to develop but believed in his potential. He will compete in the 2024 season and has a solid foundation to build upon. Head coach Shane Steichen praised Freeland's progress and work ethic.
