The Colts' tight end room heading into the offseason has some uncertainties. Jelani Woods, who was expected to make an impact, didn't play due to injuries. If he is healthy, he could be the #1 tight end and form a strong red-zone duo with Richardson. Mo Alie-Cox is a good blocker and occasional playmaker but is being paid more than the rest of the group combined. With Woods back and the development of Will Mallory, Alie-Cox could become expendable. Kylen Granson was the most targeted tight end last season and excels in short-yardage situations. Mallory is mostly a depth option. If Woods' injuries persist, the Colts may need a backup tight end, especially if Alie-Cox is cut. The tight end position will depend on Woods' health, and the Colts might consider a veteran starter if needed.
