The Washington Commanders have hired John Glenn as their assistant special teams coach, completing their coaching staff for the 2024 season. Glenn previously served as the linebackers coach for the Seattle Seahawks for 12 consecutive seasons. He helped develop linebacker Jordyn Brooks, who had a breakout season in 2021, and worked with Bobby Wagner, who led the NFL in tackles for the 12th consecutive season. Glenn also achieved a Super Bowl victory with the Seahawks in 2013. Before joining the NFL, Glenn coached at the University of Washington and North Carolina Wesleyan College. He was a three-year letterwinner in football at East Stroudsburg University and also played basketball. Glenn and his wife have three sons.
