Washington Commanders Coaching Tracker: Tom Donatell new DBs coach, Anthony Lynn hired as run-game coordinator

The Washington Commanders have been busy filling out their coaching staff. After hiring Dan Quinn as head coach, they added Kliff Kingsbury as offensive coordinator and Joe Whitt Jr. as defensive coordinator. They also made several requests to the Dallas Cowboys for coaching assistants. Additionally, they hired Tom Donatell as defensive backs coach and Anthony Lynn as run-game coordinator. Bobby Johnson was hired as offensive line coach, and Larry Izzo was brought in as special teams coordinator. Several coaches from the previous staff will not be returning. Ryan Kerrigan will be assisting with coaching the linebackers and defensive line. The Commanders are also retaining Tavita Pritchard as quarterback coach and Bobby Engram as wide receivers coach.
