With plenty of cap space, a new head coach, and a new general manager, there is speculation that Dan Quinn might try to bring some Dallas Cowboys players to the Washington Commanders. Among the Cowboys' 14 free agents, eight were on Quinn's defense, including players like Stephon Gilmore and Dante Fowler Jr. Fowler, who previously played with Quinn at the University of Florida, could be a potential target for the Commanders due to his pass-rushing ability. Another player of interest is Dorance Armstrong, a younger defensive end who contributed well in limited playing time in 2023. The Commanders are in need of an edge rusher, having traded away Montez Sweat and Chase Young during the previous season.
