Commanders trade down, still land franchise QB in this new post-Super Bowl mock draft

In a post-Super Bowl mock draft, the Washington Commanders trade down from the No. 2 overall pick to the No. 12 pick, receiving additional first-round picks in 2025 and 2026, as well as a second-round pick in 2025 from the Denver Broncos. The Broncos select Drake Maye as their quarterback. Washington then trades up from No. 12 to No. 10, giving the No. 40 overall pick to the Jets, to select J.J. McCarthy as their quarterback. The Commanders also select Penn State edge Chop Robinson with their remaining second-round pick.
