Former Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake is eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The Class of 2024 was recently announced, including notable players like Dwight Freeney, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Patrick Willis, and Julius Peppers. The list of eligible players for the Class of 2025 includes Cameron Wake, alongside other greats like Eli Manning, Marshal Yanda, Marshawn Lynch, and Joe Staley. In his 11-year career, Wake played in 155 games, starting 126 of them. He recorded 364 tackles, 100.5 sacks, 99 tackles for loss, 22 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. While his stats may not stand out at first glance, his average of 0.65 sacks per game is higher than two members of the 2024 Hall of Fame class. While he may not be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there is speculation about whether Wake will eventually receive the honor and don the gold jacket in Canton, Ohio.
