Miami Dolphins' defensive coaching staff is undergoing changes under new coordinator Anthony Weaver. Renaldo Hill and Sam Madison will not be returning as coaches next season. Hill served as the pass game coordinator and defensive backs coach, while Madison was the cornerbacks coach and pass game specialist. The Dolphins' passing defense ranked 15th in the league, allowing an average of 223.5 yards per game, but struggled in their final three games, giving up 312 yards per game. However, their run defense performed well, ranking seventh with an average of 99.8 rushing yards allowed per game in 2023.
