Report: Eagles have a new quarterbacks coach

The Philadelphia Eagles have hired Doug Nussmeier as their new quarterbacks coach, according to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler. This move was expected after the Eagles hired Kellen Moore as their offensive coordinator. Moore and Nussmeier have previously worked together on the coaching staffs of the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Chargers. Nussmeier has over 20 years of experience coaching quarterbacks, while the previous coach, Alex Tanney, only began coaching in 2021. The Eagles are looking to Nussmeier and Moore to help quarterback Jalen Hurts improve in the upcoming season.
