Report: Eagles hire Broncos defensive backs coach to their staff

The Philadelphia Eagles have hired Denver Broncos defensive backs coach Christian Parker for a role on their coaching staff. Parker, who has ties to Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, oversaw the development of cornerback Patrick Surtain II and worked with Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons during his time with the Broncos. Parker also interviewed for defensive coordinator positions with the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots. The Eagles hired Parker after not retaining D.K. McDonald as their defensive backs coach.
