According to NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Chip Kelly, the former Philadelphia Eagles head coach, is a potential candidate for the offensive coordinator position with the Washington Commanders. Kelly has been eyeing a return to the NFL due to changes in college football, such as NIL money and conference realignment, that he finds undesirable. There were also reports that Kelly could be a package deal with Quinn. Despite initial success in Philly, Kelly's offense was eventually caught up to by the league, leading to his firing by the Eagles in 2015 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. Kelly has since been the head coach for the UCLA Bruins, but it seems like he may be returning to the NFC East as an offensive play-caller.
