Brian Johnson, former offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, will be staying in the NFC East. He has been hired by the Washington Commanders as a pass game coordinator, working with new OC Kliff Kingsbury. Johnson will also be coaching the quarterback that the Commanders select in the upcoming NFL Draft. While he underachieved as a play-calling OC, he performed well as a quarterbacks coach for Jalen Hurts. Despite not landing any head coach or offensive coordinator jobs this offseason, Johnson could generate more interest next year if the Commanders' offense shows promise.
