Pro Football Hall of Fame selects 2 former Falcons players

Two former Atlanta Falcons players, Dwight Freeney and Devin Hester, have been selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Freeney, a defensive lineman, played for the Falcons during their Super Bowl season in 2016. Hester, a wide receiver and return specialist, played for the team for two seasons (2014-2015). Freeney spent the majority of his career with the Indianapolis Colts, accumulating 107 of his 125.5 career sacks. Hester was known for his electrifying kick and punt returns and retired with 20 combined kick/punt return touchdowns.
