Ex-Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff explains why teams fail to develop QBs

Former Atlanta Falcons general manager, Thomas Dimitroff, believes that the team's failure to develop a long-term answer at quarterback is the main reason why head coach Arthur Smith was let go. Despite a promising start to the 2023 season, the Falcons went 5-10 in their final 15 games and missed out on the playoffs. Dimitroff suggests that if the team had won just a few more games, Smith might still be the head coach. He explains that some coaches are more focused on their job security than developing young players, leading to a lack of sustained success.
