Former Atlanta Falcons running back Mike Davis has announced his retirement from the NFL. Davis, an Atlanta native, played eight seasons in the league after being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2015. In 2021, he joined the Falcons and had 503 rushing yards, 44 receptions for 259 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns. Davis shared his gratitude for the friendships and memories he made in the NFL and expressed his appreciation for every organization he played for. He last played in 2022 for the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in eight games. Throughout his career, Davis accumulated 2,052 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, 171 receptions for 1,066 receiving yards, and four touchdown receptions.
