Fred Taylor, former Jacksonville Jaguars running back, was a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, it seems that he was not seriously considered by the voters. Peter King, a member of the selection committee, did not include Taylor in his list of 10 players to vote for or in his list of likely inductees for the following year. The discussions on Taylor's candidacy were also very short compared to other players. This suggests that Taylor was not given much consideration by the committee. Despite being 17th in NFL history in rushing yards, Taylor's chances of being inducted into the Hall of Fame seem slim.
