The Jacksonville Jaguars are close to hiring Tennessee Volunteers assistant coach Jerry Mack as their running backs coach. Mack has a background in college coaching and has previously worked at schools like Memphis and Rice. At Tennessee, he coached a rushing attack that ranked 10th in the country in yards per game. The Jaguars have struggled to find a suitable backup to star running back Travis Etienne Jr. and hope that Mack can help improve their rushing game, which finished with the third fewest yards per carry in the league last season.
