Breece Hall did not receive much consideration for the AP Comeback Player of the Year award, which instead went to Joe Flacco. Despite coming back from a significant injury and putting up impressive stats, Hall only received three third-place votes. Hall had a remarkable season, overcoming a torn ACL and performing at a high level, even behind a poor offensive line. He accounted for a significant portion of the New York Jets' offense and had better statistics than other players in the voting. The award seemed to prioritize team success and media attention, rather than individual performance. Hall's candidacy deserved more recognition.
