New York Jets wide receiver Irvin Charles has embraced his role as a "wolf" on special teams. Charles, who made the 53-man roster in August, has a relentless mentality when it comes to pursuing the ball and making tackles. He proved himself in Week 5 by forcing a fumble on punt coverage and leading the team in special teams tackles. Charles, an undrafted free agent, sees his journey similar to that of Jets captain Justin Hardee, who also found success on special teams after going undrafted. Thomas Morstead, a former teammate of Hardee's, believes Charles has the potential to be even better if he can consistently perform at a high level.
