The East-West Shrine Bowl is often overshadowed by other pre-draft events, but it shouldn't be overlooked. Last year, three quarterbacks from the Shrine Bowl went on to start NFL games. This year, there are some standout defensive players to watch. Qwantez Stiggers, who never played college football but had success in the CFL, made an immediate impact in the game. Darius Muasau showed his talent with a big hit on the first snap. Grayson Murphy had two sacks and a powerful hit on the quarterback. Myles Murphy was impressive on the interior, with a sack and good bull rushes. Aaron Casey stood out with six tackles, including one on a screen pass. Tyler Owens showcased his size and athleticism with two standout plays. Stay tuned for the offensive standouts.
