Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker has hinted at saying goodbye to the team in a heartfelt Instagram post. While not explicitly stating his departure, Walker's release has been expected due to his declining role and high salary. If released, the Lions will gain $5.5 million in cap space but will still have over $7 million in dead cap. Walker, a third-round pick in 2018, played 79 games for the Lions, accumulating 398 tackles, 23 passes defended, and three interceptions.
