The Green Bay Packers are in need of adding depth at the center position this offseason. Currently, they only have Josh Myers on the roster. While Myers is the front-runner for the starting center position, the Packers may explore free agency or the draft to create competition at the position. Moving Zach Tom, who played well at right tackle, to center is also a possibility. Although Myers had ups and downs in terms of pass-blocking and run-blocking, he excelled as a leader and in pre-snap communication. The Packers have the opportunity to add competition at center through the draft, with five selections in the top 100. They may also consider free agency, depending on their salary cap situation. PFF's top free agents list includes seven centers, with projected contract values ranging from $5.2 million to $13.5 million per year.
