Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has been ranked as a top-25 player at his position for the 2023 season by NFL.com analyst Maurice Jones-Drew. Hubbard started the season as a backup but ended up becoming the team's RB1, leading in carries, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns. He had a career-high season, running for 902 yards and five touchdowns on 238 carries. On the other hand, Miles Sanders, who was the Panthers' RB1 at the start of the season, had a disappointing year with his lowest attempts and rushing yards. He ranked 49th on Jones-Drew's list.
