Former NFL executive, Jeff Diamond, predicts that the Carolina Panthers and outside linebacker Brian Burns could reach a four-year, $100 million deal, with over half of it guaranteed. This would make Burns one of the top earners at his position, alongside players like Nick Bosa, T.J. Watt, and Joey Bosa. The franchise tag is also a possibility for the Panthers, which would mean Burns would be on a one-year, $21.9 million deal for the 2024 season. The new Panthers general manager, Dan Morgan, is keen on keeping Burns as one of their top defensive players.
