Defensive starters get their wish, to run it back with coaches

Carolina Panthers defensive players, including Derrick Brown and Brian Burns, expressed their desire for defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero to remain on staff. The team announced that Evero will indeed be staying, along with the rest of the defensive staff. Under Evero's coaching, the Panthers had the fourth-best defense in terms of yards allowed per game and the third-best passing defense. Brown is particularly excited for the stability and continuity that having the same coaching staff will bring. The Panthers will now focus on free agency decisions, with Brown and Burns among the players facing potential roster changes. The players believe that the camaraderie and continuity on the defense will help them tap into their full potential.
