New England Patriots center James Ferentz has announced his retirement from the NFL. He made the announcement on Instagram. Ferentz had been with the Patriots since 2018 and played in 40 games, starting in 10 of them. He was a part of two Super Bowl teams with the Patriots. Ferentz's retirement, combined with the team not agreeing to a contract extension with Trent Brown, suggests changes are coming to the Patriots offensive line.
