Patriots announce 17 additions to Jerod Mayo’s 2024 coaching staff

The New England Patriots have announced 17 new additions to head coach Jerod Mayo's coaching staff for the 2024 season. Among the hires are T.C. McCartney as quarterbacks coach, Taylor Embree as running backs coach, Tyler Hughes as wide receivers coach, and Bob Bicknell as tight ends coach. On the defensive side, Jerry Montgomery joins as the defensive line coach, Donta Hightower as inside linebackers coach, and Vinny DePalma as a defensive coaching assistant. In the kicking game, Tom Quinn and Coby Tippett have been appointed as special teams coaches. Several of these hires were previously unreported, including Hughes, Bicknell, DePalma, Lett, Quinn, McDonough, and Tippett. The Patriots will also retain some of their current coaches for the upcoming season.
