Will Lawing, who served as the New England Patriots' tight ends coach last season, is close to becoming Boston College's offensive coordinator, according to reports. This move would reunite Lawing with Bill O'Brien, who recently became the head coach of the Eagles. Lawing has worked with O'Brien at various teams, including New England, Alabama, and Houston. With Lawing's departure, the Patriots will continue their overhaul of the offensive coaching staff and still have vacancies at wide receiver and running backs coach.
