Patriots to host press conference with new coaching staff on Wednesday

The New England Patriots will hold an introductory press conference on Wednesday with their new coaching staff. Head coach Jerod Mayo will be joined by offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington, and special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer. This will be the first time fans and media get to hear from the new coaches, who were hired in February as part of a rebuild after Bill Belichick's tenure. Van Pelt comes from the Cleveland Browns, Covington was promoted from defensive line coach, and Springer was previously with the Los Angeles Rams. The press conference will take place at 3 p.m. ET and can be watched live on Patriots.com.
